What makes you different from other early-stage investors?
We have experience as founders and operators. “Only 8% of European VCs have any operational experience compared to the US which is around 50%”  (Pitchbook, Financial Times). We have a deep experience in energy tech, from building and investing for 20 years.
 
How much do you invest?
Our cheque size range is £250k-£1m. At pre-seed we like to invest ~£250k, at seed typically ~£500k. We occasionally invest into A and B rounds.

Do you lead rounds?
Yes, though we often co-lead rounds and follow others. We like to collaborate with great people.
 
Where do you invest?
We invest across Europe and occasionally in the US, where there is a strong local lead and we are very excited by the opportunity. Our core focus is northern Europe, especially UK and Nordics.

How do we make contact?
It’s good if you can find a warm introduction. We have invested into startups after a cold email or contact on Linkedin but it will help a lot if you can find a way to get an intro.
